Loot boxes

What you can do

1. Look together at what the box might contain and what it costs in real money.
2. Ask: Would you still buy this box if you did not get the rare item? The purchase may give your child a different item from the one they want.
3. Work out the total cost of buying several boxes. Set a limit beforehand or choose to avoid purchases with random rewards.

Avoid

• Listen first, without blaming or shaming your child.
• Do not forward private messages, intimate images or explicit screenshots.
• No app can protect against everything. Do not promise that it can.
