What you can do

  1. Ask whether your child is buying a skin or using it as a stake in a bet. Discuss what happens to the item if they lose.
  2. Check who runs the website. Skin offers can come from someone other than the game provider. Agree that your child will ask an adult about buying skins, and discuss avoiding bets.
  3. Save your agreement and budget in Gaming & Screen Time if you want to keep them there. The app does not block websites or bets.

Avoid

  • Listen first, without blaming or shaming your child.
  • Do not forward private messages, intimate images or explicit screenshots.
  • No app can protect against everything. Do not promise that it can.

For parents

Make clear that your child can get help even if they have broken an agreement.
