What you can do
- Ask your child to show you what they play in Roblox and who they play with. Then look at chat, purchases and friend requests on the account.
- Use Roblox’s help for parental settings. Look at your child’s account together and explain any changes.
- Agree how to handle Robux: Which purchases need permission, and who can your child ask? They should also be able to get help with a player or offer that feels wrong.
Avoid
- Listen first, without blaming or shaming your child.
- Do not forward private messages, intimate images or explicit screenshots.
- No app can protect against everything. Do not promise that it can.
For parents
Make clear that your child can get help even if they have broken an agreement.
