Camera will not start

Check camera access or choose an image file in Safe Camera.

What you can do

  1. Open Safe Camera and choose Åbn kamera (Open camera) under Kamera (Camera).
  2. Read the error message. If camera access is denied, review the browser’s camera permission with an adult.
  3. Choose Luk kamera (Close camera) if the camera is open. Then try Åbn kamera (Open camera) again or choose another camera under Indstillinger (Settings).
  4. Use Vælg billede (Choose image) if the camera still will not start. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP file.

Avoid

  • Listen first, without blaming or shaming your child.
  • Do not forward private messages, intimate images or explicit screenshots.
  • No app can protect against everything. Do not promise that it can.

Make clear that your child can get help even if they have broken an agreement.
