Use Safe Browser

Choose the web text your child can read. A parent code protects your rules.

What you can do

  1. Open the Safe Browser web test. Your rules and requests are saved in its private workspace on the server.
  2. Set a parent code, save the recovery key and choose your rules. The code belongs to Safe Browser and is separate from your Sprout account.
  3. Approve new pages according to the rules you have chosen. Read the text before giving your child access.
  4. To delete this workspace’s server data, choose Forældre (Parents) → Data og forældrekode (Data and parent code) → Slet Browser-data (Delete Browser data). Enter your code and confirm. Delete bookmarks and downloaded copies separately.
  5. Rules only apply to the reader’s text. Images, video, scripts and website sign-in are not displayed.

Avoid

  • Do not send private messages or sensitive images to Sprout support.
