Gaming and money
In-game purchases, loot boxes and betting are different, but all can raise questions about money. Find conversation topics about what games sell and help agreeing on a budget. The web apps record what you enter and do not block payments.
Talk about what the game sells
Read about game currency, loot boxes and gambling, and discuss why it can be hard to stop buying.
Track purchases you enter
Record purchases and follow your budget in Gaming & Screen Time. The app does not prevent a payment.
Gambling in Safe Browser
Safe Browser has a fixed rule to block gambling content it recognises. The check can miss content. The rule applies only within the open web test’s text reader. The web test is open.
